You can cancel your booking request at any time completely free of charge.

Documents required for rental

To ride our scooters in Italy, you must provide ORIGINAL documents:
✅ Valid EU/EEA driving licence, or
✅ Non-EU driving licence + International Driving Permit (IDP)
or non-EU driving licence + official Italian translation
✅ ID card or passport
✅ Credit card (if required)
⚠️ Online translations or digital documents are not accepted.
⚠️ If the requirements are not met, the rental will be refused without refund

I have a non-EU driving licence, can I rent a scooter?

Yes, only if you present one of the following ORIGINAL documents:

Valid International Driving Permit (IDP).
or
Official translation of the driving license into Italian

👉 Without one of these documents it is not possible to rent or drive legally in Italy.

What is an “official translation”?

By official translation we mean only:

a sworn translation (asserted) by an Italian Court, or
a translation certified by an Italian Embassy or Consulate

❌ Online translations, Google Translate, PDFs, photos or documents purchased from websites are not valid.

Is the “International Driving License” purchased online valid?

❌ No.
Many sites sell documents called “International Driving License” which have no legal value in Italy.
Only the International Driving Permit (IDP) issued by the competent authorities of your country is valid.

Can the document be digital (phone / PDF)?

❌ No.
We only accept original paper documents.
Photos, screenshots or digital copies are not accepted.

What if I rented online but the documents are invalid?

In case of non-compliant documentation:

the rental will be refused or cancelled
there will be no refunds
verification takes place when the vehicle is collected

Why are you so rigid?

Why:

Italian law requires it
the insurance does not cover in case of an invalid driving licence
the driver risks fines, seizure of the vehicle and personal liability

I didn't know, it's my first time in Italy

We understand the situation, but the regulation is mandatory and applies to all drivers, without exceptions.
